FAOL

Challenge

This project was committed by a pharmaceutical Italian firm in order to design a new brand and an e-commerce platform for selling online products. The State deliberation of selling online pharmaceutical products allowed to enlarge the market of a single player. FOAL was launched as the first Italian e-commerce for selling pharmaceutical products online. 


Result

Our strategy presented an online and offline integration that depicts an e-commerce platform supported by a series of territorial selling points. As a B2C business, the platform was meant to be advertised by a social media marketing campaign on Facebook and Instagram. The brand guideline set the basis for both the e-commerce and the visuals of the marketing campaign.

Process

  1. User research, user persona and user journey 

The ux research was focused on finding the right way to set the tone of voice of the brand and to design the entire e-commerce architecture. We focused on understanding what kind of products they needed the most and figured out how to make it more accessible for this target.

  1. Branding

We sketched up to 3 different logo proposals. The chosen one went through 2 styling improvements. It was finalized with a proper brand guide-line which explained how to use the symbol in different contexts (value, tone of voice, size, colours, imaginary, font match etc.).

  1. Information architecture, wireframing and UI

Thanks to the collected data, we organized all products into categories and built a consistent UI system for every page of the website.
